In August we deployed one of our RAPID ROLL units to Flat Holm Island as part of the Cardiff Council Portable Renewables project. The deployment was challenging as it required use of a landing craft to access the island at high tide – when there was only a short window each day in which to land. However we successfully landed the equipment, positioned it on the other side of the island and deployed the solar field within one hour! This has been a great demonstration of the benefits of the portability and speed of deployment of our RAPID ROLL technology.
